Dr. Anthony Huynh is a native of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He attended The University of Western Ontario, where he received his B.S. in Medical Sciences. In search of warmer climes, he came to Fort Lauderdale, FL where he attended Nova Southeastern University for optometry. Following graduation in 2012, Dr. Huynh completed his Low Vision Rehabilitation Residency in Houston, TX and went on to become a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. His study on the Use of E-readers and Tablets for the Visually Impaired was presented in Seattle at the American Academy of Optometry, as well as the Asia Pacific Council in Optometry in Korea. He is the only residency trained Low Vision Specialist in Central Florida, including Orlando, Ovideo, Winter Park and Winter Garden.

Dr. Huynh is currently working on two projects. First, he is setting up a technology training and evaluation room for low vision patients.  Second, he is working on becoming a Diplomate, which is the highest distinction a doctor can receive in the field of optometry. In his free time, Dr. Huynh likes to stay in shape, watch movies (especially Marvel superheroes), and come up with wacky smoothie recipes, which he enjoys with his two children.
